The Architecture of Bhakti Mandir Mangarh

On October 26th, 1996, the foundation stone of Bhakti Mandir was put down. This was the start of building this all-stone, hand-carved temple. Bhakti Mandir is 108 feet tall and was made out of pink sandstone, white marble, and black granite. It was opened with a big party in November 2005.

Walking into the divine temple, you see beautiful life-sized statues of Radha and Krishna. These statues represent Radha and Krishna’s divine pleasure and attraction and forcefully draw the mind to them. The main hall is surrounded by the Deities of the Ashta Mahasakhis, which are Radha Rani’s eight closest and most eternal friends. Shri Maharaj Ji set up these Deities himself.
